Foods ideas for an Alice in Wonderland teen party?
My Birthday Party is next Saturday and I’ve procrastinated thinking of food ideas for it. It’s going to be Alice in Wonderland themed, so if there are any ideas that go along with this, that would be great.
Basically, I need finger food ideas. Stuff I can just lay out and let my friends eat until thier heart’s content. I’m on a budget though, and I have to be all my supplies all on my own. And I’m having a LOT of friend’s over, about 50+. Another thing, I’m vegetarian. So, I’d like vegetarian ideas along with a few meat ones for my friends that are carnivores.
If you could help me out, that’d be very much appreciated!
And any ideas for decorations are welcome as well. (:
How about stuffed mushrooms? You can use regular, largish mushrooms. Scoop out the stem and insides… blend them up with a little grated cheese, breadcrumbs, olive oil, and any thing that sounds good (you can find many recipes for stuffed mushrooms online)… scoop the mixture back into the mushroom and grill on medium heat for ten to fifteen minutes. The result is a really delicious, totally veggie, finger food. Put a card that says “Eat me” next to the platter and you are set.
Also lots of tea (maybe cool herbal teas for variety) and some small cakes and cookies.
